Korowai Aroha is a kaupapa Māori health organisation in Rotorua dedicated to holistic, whānau-centred care grounded in te ao Māori. Founded by Māori nurses in 1992 with a vision to change the way healthcare is delivered, Korowai Aroha offers a wide range of services—from general practice and chronic disease support to mirimiri, tāne ora, and hapū māmā care. Guided by the vision “Toiora Whānau” and the mission “Whakapūmau i te Pae Ora”, it is a place where whānau wellbeing, identity, and hauora are nurtured across generation

What we are looking for:
- Applicants will need to be registered with the Medical Council of NZ, vocationally registered or workingtowards this.
- Nurse Practitioners will need to be registered with Nursing Council of NZ with at least two years’ experience inGeneral Practice.
- A commitment to providing holistic, mana-enhancing healthcare
- Cultural competence and willingness to work in a te ao Māori context
- Passion for equity, hauora Māori and community-centred care
